Just watched crochunter,great episode with steve travelling around indonesia,never realised that waters were so bulky,steve found an adult female in some temple ruins and she was huge.There absolutely stunning animals and 1 day i'd love to own 1.steve must have nads the size of watermelons because he just walked right over and lifted her out of the water,the water never even flinched,are they all like that?Anyway i'm rambling on so,well i guess what i'm saying is no pic could ever show the true colour and grace of these amazing varanids,WOW anyone keeping these guys,i hope you realise how privileged you guys are!No pics of the nile tonight,she didn't wanna play

not a wild animal. If I remember that episode correctly, he was at one of the reptile parks. That water is used to being handled as it is messed with everyday by visitors. They also have croc monitors that allow this handling as well. But Does not mean all of them will be that up for a nice pet on the head.

Each species has there own personality within each species an individual is simply that and may or may not act accordingly to that species type or known personality.

Oh and yes waters get very large and bulky that one was big but not the biggest by far.
