Some pics I took at the Madras Crocodile Bank this summer

BAZ Oct 28, 2003 12:07 PM

I travelled to the Madras Crocodile Bank in August to work with the crocs there and also do some wildlife presentations for the public as a representative of Little Rays Reptile Zoo here in Ottawa, Canada. Here are a few photos I took while I was there. I stopped in Singapore on the way there and managed to take a couple of photos of the komodo dragons and water monitors at the zoo there. The Madras Crocodile Bank also had a few very large water monitors which I got to work with.

The rest of the pics are of the wildlife presentations and feeding demonstrations I did for the public in India. Hope you guys enjoy them.

1. How big is the croc in the 8th picture? I'm guessing 13 feet...

2. Who's the chick and how do I get to work with her? jk, seeing those biceps on her while pulling on that rope makes me think she could kick my butt....

Glad you liked the pics. It was an amazing experience. Next September should be just as good when I take a group of zoo keepers down to the McKinlay River to work on the fresh water croc project with Adam Britton.
