You're kidding right? Both Red eyes and Whites need at least 20 gal per frog, with 10 gal added for each additional frog. On top of that mixing species is never a good Idea especially with two frogs that have such different requirements. For example, Whites like around 50% humidity, while red eyes need around 90%. You need to do allot of research and make sure you can properly care for the frog(s) you have now before you get any more.
well, everywhere i've read it says that white's are ok 2 in one ten gallon tank, and i was asking if they would be ok together i haven't done any readint on retf s so yea, you don't hafta make me feel really stupid

Where did you read that? I have never seen a single source that says 2 whites can live in a 10 gal.

one ten gallon is torture for two frogs. could you imagine being locked in your little bedroom for the rest of your life? especially with the two species together. it would be like being locked in your bedroom with someone you dont like. Frogs have toxins.both the whites tree frogs and red eye tree frogs have different toxins. the frog would leave the toxins in the water bowl,on the glass where he slept, anywhere the frogs jumped or shed. the toxins from the red eye tree frog could kill th ewhites over enough time, and likewise for the red eye and the whites. it really wouldnt be good if you put either of those frogs into a ten gallon, they jump way too much and are too active and big to be in a tiny tank like that.please rethink what your going to do,you want ot do the best for the frogs, right? you dont have these already do you?
no, i only have the white's dumpy treefrog, its kinda wierd, i got it for 50% off at the petsmart i work at b/c one of its eyes has none of the gold its just straight black, yea but i don't have any more room in my room for another bigger tank for him, i have lotsa branchs and stuffs for him to climb on so yea, right now i have 2 ten gallons 1 twenty gallon long, and one i think its a 55 gallon tank, in my little room in my parents house plus a big tree in the middle of the rrom for my chameleon yea so i can't get the white's a bigger tank, i've read that 1 frog is find and dandy in a 10 gallon tank, and it would make sense, cuz he is pretty small...

How big is he? Why dont you try and get him a 20H tank. That will take up just about the same amount of space as a 10.

The only time you can keep a White's or RE in a 10 gallon is if they are still babies under 1 inch in size. But NOT together! White's can be very harty and tolerent of a lot of things but may try to eat the RE. RE's are more delicate and easily stressed, so putting it with a White's would surely stress it out.
Once either soecies reaches 2 inches ti's time to put them into a perm. home of appropriate size (20 gallons for 1 and 10 gallons additional for each extra tank mate) Of course, bigger is always better.

Dagangsta, you definitely cannot do that. If your White's treefrog is still small, the 10-gallon is probably fine, but it will grow out of it fast. They are big frogs that need at least a 20-gallon high. RETFs are not as large but are way more active and one of those needs a 20-gallon, too. An adult White's will almost certainly eat an adult RETF. The two of them need to be kept in very different conditions, also.
Again, you NEED to get a larger tank for that one, single White's you have if you care about it. You can put two 10-gallon tanks together to make a 20-gallon, but you certainly can't keep even just that one in that tank for long. The people here have kept frogs for a very long time and know this, so please trust us when we tell you... or go to an exotic vet and ask them what they think (and you'll hear the same thing). It's really important to take care of captive pets properly, so please don't skimp on something as simple and easily-fixable as appropriate tank size. And no mixing!
