Hoss is about 6"...2 months old...is this way too early for hime...If so what about wax or supers????

He is still too young regardless. I would stick to crickets until he is at least 12" long. Then you can give him occasional wax worms as treats. Once he reaches about 250 grams you can give him small superworms.
