White chalkiness on Indian Star's shell

cod6545 Oct 28, 2003 07:07 PM

Hey- on the front three scutes of my adult female Star is a dry white chalky look. It's like it was scraped with a nail file. The chalk dosen't come off with water, but it seems to be on the outside. Any ideas on what this is? I have picture avaible for any who think they know. Thanks. Brooks
