well all last night we lost power in encinitas we were up till 3 trying to figure out what was going on, finally got the power back up and figured we were safe to go to sleep after driving south then east making sure the fire was no where near. then was up at the stables this morning at 6:30 returned home, jumped in the shower got out and boyfriend said, get dressed and get the animals packed up. There was a fire on the west side of hwy 5, very close to where we live, could see everything from our place. anyhow got everyone packed up , waited, and shortly after they got it under control, so then everyone went back in their homes, was a good drill anyhow.. hehe. anyhow.. we are still alive and everyone is fine, our computer at home is acting up so i cant get onto the message board from there. hope everyone is well, hopefullly this will be over soon, so many homes have been lost, its really a shame.

Rea,

I worry about you and your animals ... You are in our daily thoughts and prayers. As I was watching the fires on the news last night, I couldn't help but to think how you were doing and if you were safe. I'm glad that you all are safe! That "drill" would've scared the crap out of me! You hang in there sweetie!
