I've heard it said

that blue backgrounds make a geckos color stand out more...so beware blue backgrounds.

The website I am in the process of creating will have a royal blue background. So that my pics won't stand out too much, I took the pics on a navy blue blanket (hope it doesn't clash too much).

I am a novice photographer (point and shoot sort of thing), but the dark blue doesn't seem to bring the color out as much as green. So, perhaps it is just lighter blue colors?

What do you think? This is the same gecko only minutes apart (if that).

the green background makes it stand out more IMO. Or maybe its just me...
