Looks male to me. How old is it? And has it had steady access to calcium for storing up? On mine the male also has a much fatter tail than the females

I actually just got him this weekend, I have fed him crickets with dust and baby food so far. How can you tell its a male just because I would like to pair it up, and I would like to know how to sex them. Is it the pre-anal pores? I noticed that he has a bit of a bulge by the base of the tail also, does that matter?

Thanks for your response
