Well, I personally have read that some leo's will eat either a 50/50 mix of honey and water, or strained baby food. I haven't tried this yet, but I don't see why it wouldn't be safe. I plan to give it a try, but no more than once or twice a week.
Oops, forgot the other part of that question. The place I read said to try peach or mango. I'd go more with peach though, because it's less acidic than mango.
As far as I know, there's no peach or mango in their natural habitat. They're insectivores and very good hunters. I don't see any reason to feed them baby food unless they're not eating and you have to get something in them. Then, people have recommended turkey baby food for its high protein.
