I would use at least 12 inches.
a post like this with absolutely no context makes it awfully difficult to answer such questions. what type of response are you expecting?
you saw this where? with what setup? over what time period? under what conditions? with what details?
how about a question like this...
why was that guy i saw on the street today wearing his hat like that? can anyone answer that for me?
you gotta give some context and detail man : )

do you guys breed green tree monitors? i thought green tree monitors were illegal(if not at f2 status) are they? do you have any pictures of there set up?
on another note whats happening with the durmil monitors any compulating yet? i saw you added black rough necks to your photo gallery does this mean that you importing them now?
thanks
talk soon
Alex Oliver
we actually have Green Tree eggs cooking right now. Prasinus are illegal to import at this time, they have been for quite a while...
we don't have any breeding groups of Dum's, we have worked with them in the past, but at this time, we just sell the babies when they are available, which for us, hasn't been for 2 years now.
we stopped selling the Rudi babies last year because the quality was just so spotty and poor. perhaps Dragoon will keep all her babies, start a monster-producing captive colony, and save the world with them, otherwise, folks will continue to have to pick through wild caught junk. i certainly wish her the best of luck.
funny thing, she bought a Temp Gun, and then hatched Rudis. see, everyone should buy a Temp Gun. it is only logical : )

what are you doing with your baby green tree monitors sell them, holding them back and breeding them? whats the plan?
Alex Oliver
making the great assumption that we will hatch those Green Tree eggs, we would keep the babies to raise. i suppose that if you hatched out Prasinus, you could ask just about whatever you wanted for them, i would ask for at least $2000...

Hi Robyn, good luck, I hope you are able to hatch them, that would be awesome.
Steve
That's my plan exactly. =)
Congrats on the monsters, Robyn!
