red tail cage

what size cage do u have ur adult red tail in?

I have our newly rescued red tail in a 6' x 3' x 3' cage. That's probably a bit big though. I've read that the minimum cage requirements for an adult red tail is 4 x 2 x 2.

As with any animal, the bigger the better. At least 12 sqr feet of floor space for one adult. Up to 18sqr ft of floor space for a pair. Remember these guys can get big (7-10ft) if you let them.
