1 year old CB Female Veiled

murphylee03 Oct 29, 2003 06:10 PM

Hi,
I have a 1 year old, captive bred, hand raised female veiled, who sadly I cannot keep. I bought her in November 2002 as a month old hatchling and now I cannot keep her anymore. I was wondering what a FAIR selling price would be. I have a pretty good idea but thought I would get some opinions.
Thank you!

Considering the age and sex of the cham, I would say $75-85
Unfortunately femal Veileds don't sell for very much at any size, but considering that she is breedable now you could go as high as $100, but I wouldn't expect to see many people interested in her at that price unless she has amazing colors (which unfortunately most females don't) If you sell her with cage and all accessories, then you can get more for her and the supplies. I would suggest charging 50-65% of what you paid for the supplies considering that they are used.

Location also has a lot to do with the price. If there are more chams available all over the place it would make it harder to sell at a higher price.

Good luck
