The winds have carried in the smoke from California to Vegas... Dang... If it's this bad here, I can imagine how bad it would be there. We're 4-5 hour drive away and I can only see about a half mile around town right now. I can usually see theother side of the city. My eyes have been burning today (I work outside) and the news is telling everyone to stay inside today unless you have to go outside. I began smelling smoke at about 5AM this morning and it got worse all day. It also got pretty windy. Weird....

I can tell you it's awful here. I am approximately 1 mile away from the Stevenson Ranch fire (formerly the Lake Piru/Moorpark/Simi Valley fire) and the ground is like snow there is so much ash. The air is stifling. It seems that each time it sounds like the firefighters have gotten the upper hand, something else happens and the fires continue to rage.

it's pretty much just as bad here too. i live just outside of Phx, and it has been smoky all day. we also have a high pollution advisory in effect until further notice. same as Vegas........

Yeah i myself live pretty close to stevenson ranch, Thank god it 's over this rain really helped, lost a day of work though, work in simi valley, so kinda a rough last weekend, but i hear there's gonna be snow falling !!!!!!!
