I have a pair of corns and am about to try and breed them. I would like to know if any one has had a corn hatch with 2 heads or heard if this happening to any major breeders?

It does happen but i wouldnt be holding my breath for it.
I was hoping that it was possible like the kingsnakes that are always popping up because I would really like to breed them just to find out why they are the way they are! I know that many breeders will kill them when they hatch and not work with them, which may be killing a totally new looking corn. If they can add heads into the world who is to say they can't add anything else when breed to other 2 headded corns or regular (1 head) corns as well.
Another point to think about is how stressed out the snake is with two heads. It does not know which head should eat the food. Which direction it should go. Most of captive bred two headed snakes are non feeders too. So a lot of two headed snakes die of stress before they can be bred. just my 2 cents.

Two headedness is not a breedable trait. Is that what you were wondering, if they would breed more two-headers? Maybe I just misunderstood you though. Good luck with your future breeding, Scott.

So 2headedness is not a breedable trait? Why does it happen then? Also I was thinking about breeding it to a single headed corn to see if they could possess a hidden trait that most breeders over look because of the 2heads? Maybe a pattern change or color change, anything. Do you know anyone who has tried to breed a 2headed snake, if so what happened?
