I have 2.2 olives that I hope to breed this year. How many did you hatch out?
Jeff
But I think they are just beautiful snakes. What are the temperments on them?

Out of all the snakes I have owned, My Olive has had the best temperament. He is truly a snake with personality, not shy, great eater, beautiful snake, and unbelievably active. He is also one of the only snakes I own that seem to actually enjoy exploring a room, a great species to work with.
BTW: Since I first opened the sack he came in, he has been as docile as can be.
Most olives are docile. Most Liasis are very aggressive as babies and get more tame as they grow up, but most baby olive pythons are already tame, and I think that's great because it's easier to keep a tame 11-12 feet snake than a crazy one.

I hatched 14 babies, but 2 of them are still in the eggs looking outside.
I think I'll keep 2 or 3.
Good luck with yours. Breeding them shouldn't be very hard.

Congrats! Thanks for the great pictures! I like seeing the chronological events of breeding.

Olives are among my favorite pythons . After "babysitting" one this year(Not intentionally) I truly grew to like them. Easily one of the nicest most underrated pythons in this hobby.
