Sleeping Zoe....

icequeen Oct 30, 2003 08:01 AM

This morning when I came home from work I went to get Zoe's dripper to fill it.
This is how I found him sleeping.
It CAN'T be comfortable!
He will usually sleep with his front arms up, as in "stick'em up, you're under arrest" position, but this position is just ODD. With his spine twisted, and arms and legs all stretched out like that.

They sure are creatures of habit too! That schefflera is practically dead as you can see...but he sleeps there, and spends most of his day there, despite the fact that there are hardly any leaves left on it. He has a brand new, nice full one in with him...but...NOPE! He doesn't want any part of it. Even if I put it exactly where the mostly dead one is...he won't go on it.

He's just like my dad who gets all pissy if my mom washes out his teacup after he gets it "properly seasoned"...Zoe must of worked off all the "right" leaves to get his plant "just so" and nice and comfy to hang on to, and there's no way he's going to give it up willingly!

That is the cutest picture I have ever seen! Orion sleep upside down from her roof sometimes, but never like that! Crazy! He looks so happy and healthy I'm glad to see him in such good shape. How are things going with him eating?
