I will soon be getting an adult beardie I have a 75 gallon aquarium, but i like the vision cages. Does anybody use these for their beardies and what model would you recommend for an adult male.

Also I think I am going to need help naming him.....I suck at naming my animals....lol so if you all can help me That would be awesome.

thanx

Hi britt.. sorry, i won't be much help here... i've never used the vision cages.. i don't like how dark they are. seems like it might be a lot of work to get it nice and bright inside the cages for your dragons. Others on here use them though and they like them, so maybe someone else can help you out there.

75 gallon tank will work real nice for floor space. With the proper light and heat that could be a really nice cage.

goodluck, hopefully someone here can be more helpful.

I would use a 332 as a minimum size.......going with a 4ft model instead would be nice. But for one adult the 332 should be ok. I used to have a vision and loved it. I would recommend them to anyone. I modified mine a bit and had a mercury vapor bulb giving off light and heat so it was pretty bright, and most of them have a vent, or a vent can be added to add a fluorescent fixture. If I could furnish a reptile room with a custom cage it would definately be them. Nice and light, sturdy, strong, water resistant, easy to clean, and great looking......so many positives......the only real negative I see is the cost of them. It can get quite pricey for those of us that have multiple animals. Chris
