I recommend using clay pot's with the holes already in the top for corn's. My corns love them because they provide a nice, dark, enclosed spot to hide. You always have to make sure the hole is big enough for them to get through, though. You can expand the hole by taking the pot out of the cage and gently hammerimg a nail around to chip off the clay. When your snake get's too big, then just buy a bigger pot.
What kind of substrate do you plan on using? If you haven't yet decided, then I highly recommend paper towels. They are fairly absorbent, so easy to change/clean, and snakes love hiding underneath them.

Another hide that has worked for me (but not as good as clay pot's or cork bark) is (for hatchlings) an old cream cheese container cleaned out with an entrance hole on the top or side. I have used these filled with crumpled paper towels and the snakes liked them pretty good. And the main advantage to this is that if the snakes poo on them or near them, you can just toss it in the garbage.

Just try a variety of hide's and see which one your snake prefers. Just remember they like to be in small, dark places.
And if you haven't already, buy the corn snake manual. This is a must have for all corn keepers.
Good luck!
James

I have kind of unique hides we take small baby shirts that my 2 year old cant fit anymore. I dont recommend them if you want to be able to access the corn whenever you want to but all my snakes love them. Plus I dont know if it helps but we put our scent on them before putting them in the cage so they associate our scent with security. I dont know how well it works but none of our snakes ever attempt to nip us...even our BRB juvy wich are wel known as nippy teens.
