Does it take a while for Uro's to eat their food?

I put romaine lettuce in the cage for Orion but all he eats is the substrate which is millet.That shouldn't impact him right?

Orion eats right from my fingers! That must of been what he was waiting for. I gave him some endive and squished peas. This is so neat, he is adjusting very well. He goes asleep at night in his cave now.
