i have had a water dragon for about six months now and have noticed that lately he will nap during the day and be wide awake at night. he has only been doing this about 2 weeks now. does anyone know what the problem could be?

I'm not sure but do you work nights? like what hours do you keep? When I'm only around at night they stay up until I go to bed where as my mom says that when I'm not home they are usually asleep.

Reptiles in general will switch to a nocturnal pattern when the day time temps are too high.
