BRB questions

rainboa Oct 30, 2003 03:21 PM

Previously some mentions Orchid bark as a substrate. What are your thoughts on using it?

On another note, How often should 2-3 year old BRB's be fed? I have been offering a small rat every five days, and they have eaten every time (very quickly at that). Is that too much?

Thanks,

Matt

I used newspaper for mine rainbows, if you want the subtrate to look more natural i would use aspen or cypress mulch.

Mine 2 to 3 years old rainbows eat medium rats so I feed them every 10 or 15 days, I think it depend of your snake size and how fast you want your snake to grow. Just my opinion
