If you were in her shoes what would you think? It basically boils down to MORALS which it seems the animal industry has been lacking for a while now.Do you think its morally right to sell her her first snake for a much inflated price even though she is a friend? One thing about the animal industry, especially the reptile industry is making a good profit margin is impossible. One way or another you will lose money in the long run.Sure you may make a few bucks here and there but what about the 100's or even 1000's you lose by vets, food, housing, power, heating, unsuccessful breeding attempts, etc. The disadvantages greatly outweigh the advantages but alot of us do it for the love of the animals and not the love of money (which some have that vice versa). Please dont take this the wrong way because its not an attack just an out of the way explanation of the basics. If it was me i would rather give her the snake just to see her happy but thats just me,and only with my closest friends would i do that with, anyone else i would sell to but not at an overly inflated price but a little above what i payed for the animal itself.Regards Bill McLeod
