Personally i would stay away from fruit and offer more greens(collard, kale, red leaf), but you could try strawberries, grapes, pieces of apple(my turtles dont touch fruit) and reptomin. Why the vitamin A question?

This could cause many problems. If you are feeding a good
diet it is not necessary.

Any orange veggie has vitamin A, such as carrot, sweet potato, and pumpkin. I don't know if any fruits have sugnificant amounts of Vitamin A. If you have a water turtle, you can try offering thin slices of these in the water, but not all aquatics will eat them. As for box turtles and tortoises, you can shred the vegitables or use a food processor to cut them up. Include them as part of a balanced diet. You won't have a problem with vitamin A overdose if offering veggies.
