Lighting

Jester313 Oct 30, 2003 06:23 PM

I was just wondering what kind of lighting everyone uses for the Horned Frogs. I have a 40 watt night glow on Marcellus in the mornings and in the evenings. In the daytime, he doesn't have any light on. There is a lot of ambient light from a window, and some spillover light from a nearby Leopard Gecko setup. Is this ok, or should Marcellus have some light of his own?

They don't really need any extra lighting, but some say that a UV light will improve the color of the frogs. It will also allow for live plant growth. But it's more of a preference than a necessity. Andy
