Moss ok with BRB?

I want to try and keep the humidity up without having to mist several times a day. I have some moss that I got some time ago with a terrarium my son has. I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't cause any problems for the snake.

I want to put some on the bottom of his hide as well as on the cool and warm sides of the cage to keep it more humid.
