My Ball Zeus

kudleguy Oct 30, 2003 10:13 PM

Zeus is 2 feet long and eats common mice once a week. I have had him for a few months now.

He is getting a new crib tomorrow, 29 gal and tall. Should I feed him twice a week for growth or is once a week sutiable?
He seems to be hungry twice a week and very active.

also feed him once every 5 days, once hes bigger once every 7-10days , i would try feeding him half grown rats now, or a rat the size of the thickest part of his body

good luck

Well to be honest, I have done my homework. The tank is 29 gallons, and 12 inches tall. I know about floor space, but I figured if I got a 29 gal tank thats 18inches tall he'd have more room to climb which is all he wants to do.

Thanks for the rat idea. Small rats...He is a tad over 2 feet long, will the small rat be small enough? I just dont want him regurging it if he cant get it down.

I will take some pics tonight of his new digs, I havent gotten the taller tank yet, but I did his current one up to make it all nifty for him and he LOVES it already

Thanks for the insight!
