help on rainbow boas

narcie Oct 31, 2003 03:17 AM

Hi

Im thinking about buying 2 brazillian rainbow boa's i'd like to get some advice on breeding with them and what kind of tank i will be needing they will feel very comfortable in.
I'd like to know sizes of the tank in meters or feet.
I dont want the minimum need.
Any help is appreciated. Also i'd like to know if they are friendly animals or how bad a bite can be.

Greets,

narcie (narco@vulnerable.org)

Narcie,
. We have had very recent discussions here on this forum about cage sizes. Scroll down and you will see the posts. For more caging, keeping and breeding info have a look at my website. BRBs have an undeserved reputation for being nippy. I have dozens of them here at my house and they are all tame and calm. New born ones often bite but can be tamed very very easily. Bites from little ones are painless. These snakes are good pets for people who will pay careful attention to providing proper temperature and humidity for them.
