they seem to be VERY happy in there, we just have to lower the basking platforms because I think that are too hot, they infrequently sit directly under the light, more off to the side, the cool side of the encloures are around 80 degrees..

What are the measurements? If the door is on the side, does it make it difficult to clean out the cage and get the dragons out? I absolutely love this condo. In fact, I'm going to print it out and take it home to show MY hubby!

you can get the dragons or clean from either side....
he has to shorten the basking places and could probably go narrower so there will be more running space and less hot, my lamps were always on an angle not beaming directly down, so we didnt realize that the basking "spot" would too hot!
they usually hang out off to the side of it....
I have reptisun 8.0 bulbs in the other fixture so they are still getting the uvb that way............
delilah (the one who lives on the top floor) is going into brumation, she is very dopy alot now and hangs out on the ground next to the basking box, but because of the way he set up the lamps, the second floors basking light is in a box on the third floor under the top floors basking box, so the floor is not totally cold for delilah if that makes any sense........

he is a barn builder by trade, pole barns to be exact...Ive been trying to get him into furniture like pieces for awhile...he is a very talented finish carpenter as well! and a very inventive spirit...we have a electric car racetrack (you know like the tracks you had as a kid with the power for each car that you hold etc) that comes down out of my living room ceiling its HUGE we joke around and call it the worlds largest buffet table...it retracts back into the ceiling and has a "tray ceiling" appearance, complete with molding to match my living room mantle... after all we are NOT kids anymore, was tired of living in a house that reminded me of our college days....so we are "cleaning up our act"...
I figure he has plenty of retirement work to do in years ahead...in the meantime I have a kitchen renovation in the works for around a year from now.......I have spent already hours and hours on an architecture program trying to figure out how I want to do it......
anyway, thanks for the compliment, he does deserve it and also deer field farms for the inspiration...they do similar enclosures, they are stacking and they also have really beautiful units that take advantatge of corners........
