Quick Question about breeding Hypos...

susanpearl May 29, 2003 09:47 PM

Hi,

I've been thinking about breeding my hypo male to a fairly clean regular columbian boa. I know that the hypo gene is a co-dominant trait. Would the litter consist of babies that are clearly hypos, or would they all be shades of varying red/orange?

Would they all be considered hypos, or would only a certain percent of the litter be hypos?

Your help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

Susan P.

ps I'm fairly new to the morph scene....

the hypos will stand out, i may be wrong but I think its 1/2 and 1/2, im not that much up on genetics but youll be able to tell the hypos from the rest and the rest will just be normals, Jason
