Hello, i thought id share an encounter with a wild box turtle here in florida... i was disc golfing and it was in a woodland area and as i bent over to reach for my disc which was laying in a bush i saw a box turtle about 5 or so inches big, it wouldnt quite peek out of its shell when i looked at it but it pulled out a bit to take a peek at me. the wood are around a neighborhood, but by the markings and scars of the turtle it was probably wild. so i put him back.

Thanks for sharing. Next time you go disc golfing maybe you can bring a camera too We all like to see pictures of wild box turtles in their natural habitat.
