Someone give advice please.

I recently lost my job, part-time i'm only 16, and I was just about to buy a new cage for my water dragon. My friend moved away and asked me to take it. I was in the process of researching them when I realized that a minimum size tank is 400gallon and right now he's in a 20 gallon. He's 19" long. please don't yell at me I know that i'm retarded but still. So now I can't afford to buy him a bigger sized cage and I don't know if I should wait till I find a new job, which could be a while, or see if my locale pet store will take him. I just want what's best for him. Can someone please help me?

The same thing kind of happened to me I had 2 dragons about 12 inches long in a 25 gallon tank. I am working very slowly on building them an enclosure. but right now I just dragon proofed my room and let them freeroam I put up a coupel trees and they stay there and a water pool, where they go to the bathroom. just make sure they have some nice warm basking spots and that you try to keep your room warm.
Pamie, Spyro and Draco.
ps. the cage is relativly cheap to build just buy a piece by pieace is what I am doing, I bought the 2 x 4 and then one piece of plywood at a time, go pick up bottles out of the ditch or soemthing, just buy a little at a time, or mabey you could find someone who would like to have another water dragon and would take him and give hime a good home where he can get the things he needs. OK thats all kind of advice.

One thing you could do is to build a somewhat smaller cage now and when you have the money add on and make it bigger. Also, as strange as it may sound, try looking on Ebay for a cage. I have seen a few on there that are very cheap. If nothing works and he was a male I could take him. My e-mail is b1and1c@aol.com. That is only if mike d could not. Hopefully something will work out, good luck.
