Possible estivation?

I have a dwarf african pyxie frog who appears to have a waxy coating & hasn't moved in a day (he's normally in & out of the water bowl several times a day). Could he be hibernating? If so, what do I do for him? Mist him? Feed him?

You should do nothing just make sure he has clean water and when he comes out of the state he will be ready to eat so have some food ready

He was in his water this morning. Maybe he's just shedding. Thanks.
