Does anybody here keep Northern Brazilian Red Tails? more..

More and more I'm getting interested in the species. I was looking for any info out there. Size, temperment, etc. If anybody knows who I could contact or a link about this speices I would appreciate it. Thanks Jared

Thanks for all the responses. Something about them just catches my eyes. Now these guys will get 10-12'? right? I would like to add at least one these to my collection just wanted to know what everybody that about them. Thanks again, Jared

11'-12' is pretty big. Size depends on sex, genetics, feeding etc. The mother to mine was 11' before her death but that is rare. My four year old female is under eight feet and my four year old male is still a little under 6'. There are several established bloodlines of Brazilians in the U.S. such as the Hammond, Lemke, Weismann, Dyer etc. All are different in pattern, coloration and potential size.
