COOL COSTUMES!!!!!!!!! I did have a blast tonight. I didn't do the *scare the crap out of people* thing, just decortated and dressed up. A couple of my battery operated Halloween stuff did some scaring, but there was no jumping out of the dark LOL, i'll save that for next year. I did get a brain storm (a bit to late but still) about putting a bunch of mealworms into a jar/container and seeing if they would freak out anyone. Guess i could do that next year. hehehe. I didn't take any pics of myself all dressed up. To much of a chance of breaking the camera LOL HAHAHAHAHA

We enjoyed it. We try to tone it down a little bit for the kids and even talk to them at the end and show them how they aren't my real teeth so they really believe that monsters aren't real. Unfortunately I couldn't just take off the face to show them it was fake. It was pretty painful coming off.

I wouldn't worry about breaking the camera. Why do you think I had to wait until all that makeup was on to take a pic of me?

I doubt you have chipmunk cheeks like me LOL, usually the reason i hate pics of myself. Its hard to tone your cheeks. LOL. I only covered myself in darkish paint, no really fancy makeup. The artist in me regrets not going into movie makeup. I once did up my face as though i'd been beat up. My mom thought it was real. hehe I thought for next year i'd do myself up as a gecko in a tank.......with a box around my head for the tank, Or something to that effect. It should look really cool though. I'm already drawing up design specs for it LOL.

I'm not exactly into scaring the crap outta people lol. I'm usually the one that ends up being scared. I spent my Halloween doing a puppet show for kids here in town. My arms are sooooo tired. No one realizes how hard it is to hold your arms up above your head for an hour while doing a puppet show, but believe me...it's work! But it's all worth it. When you hear the kids laughing and clapping and talking to the puppets it makes it all worth it lol. Well, that's my Halloween story

It's all about making other people happy, isn't it? We did a small haunted 'house' at my friends, and while it was a different type of fun, the people who came through enjoyed it as well. Except for the girl we chased down the street

How long have you been doing the puppets? I'd like to be able to entertain people like that somehow.

Actually I just started doing the puppets. My sister talked me into trying it because they needed help. Since I'm a college student, I naturally had nothing better to do with my time so I did it. I think I'm hooked on it now and will be doing it more in the future. I would encourage anyone that hasn't tried it to do it if you enjoy entertaining people. I'm not really big on being in front of people, but it's cool cause no one ever even sees you...they just see the puppet hehe. Plus it makes me feel like I actually spent my time wisely for once (which is the opposite of what I normally do here in the dorm).

My halloween:

....i sat down all day on my big lazy a$$ watching tv, pretending im not home, so i could have all the candy for myself.

Exciting eh?!??!?

lol, naw. The best part though was when me and my friends started giving out miniature carrots and cellery to see the look on their face. Now THAT was funny.

Great costumes! Here's me and my costume. It was taken the weekend before halloween for a party. I was a gypsy =) Ok, so its not really scary but..oh well =P

Anyhoo, for halloween, i went to my mom's and took my little brothers out trick or treating (didnt dress back up for it though.) It was hilarious, they are 4 and 5, one was spiderman and one was the hulk (complete with little foam muscles) and they had to keep telling people "don't worry, we're not the real ones!". Lol, they are cute.
