As a good introduction to BTS in captivity, look through the following sites:

Good luck.

I have just gotten into BTS myself and believe me they are probably about the most personable and even to a degree (at least that's the way one of them acts) affectionate. I've had many snakes, lizards, chelonians and amphibians and I've been getting rid of them all so I can put all my time, space and resources into BTS. One adult I purchased a month ago will crawl around the couch I am sitting at and will eventually crawl up on my lap and lay there, no [bleep]. They are remarkable and each has its own personality. Another plus is that they love all types of fruits and veggies and a good low fat dog food. Easy to feed not having to worry about rounding up mice and they like. And all the BTS I have eat from my hands. One is very aggressive when feeding so I have to be careful. The real tame one is very gental and careful taking food from my fingers, almost as though it wants to make sure it doesn't want to nip me. Of course they all have there moments when they don't want to be bothered, like me and other people I know. Have fun and enjoy them. There's a BTS website with care sheet below that is a good place to start for info. Mike.
