"Tail rattling"..&..breeding

badgecko5 Nov 01, 2003 05:58 AM

This is only my second time breeding my Leos and when I introduced the males into the females cages, I heard one of them "tail rattle" shortly thereafter the female in the other cage with my other male did the same thing.
I had never heard any of them do this before, and was alittle concerned.
Should I break out the Barry White album or get the males outta there??? Don't want to stress anybody out.

The tail rattling is perfectly normal. Thats what happens when they breed. The male will also start to nip at the female as well. You have nothing to worry about.

A little Barry White couldn't help, he he he, I've heard other people say it really puts them in the mood! Ha ha ha!
