Hey Melvin,
Cooling should only be done if your animals have sufficient weight on them as the animals should not be fed during the cooling and breeding cycle. Animals should be cooled with a DTH=82-84 degrees fahrenheit and a NTL=77 degrees fahrenheit. A warm spot should only be provided for them during the daytime for about 4-5 hours at which time the hot spot should be shut down and the cooling period should be allowed to continue under ambient temps only.
It should be noted that the hot spot should only be allowed to get as high as 84-90 degrees fahrenheit, during this period. Cooling should be done for eight weeks. Males and females should be introduced during the second week of cooling and be allowed to co-habitate for the remainder of the cooling period as breeding will take place during this period with breeding spikes taking place at different points during the breeding (cooling cycle) period. Feeding should be resumed after the 8 week period and normal temperatures should be resumed. Hope this helps!
