Eastern milks and the weather

A.C. Nov 01, 2003 11:46 AM

What is the coolest temp anyone has found eastern milksnakes active at in teh wild? I'm thinkin' of checking out a new spot for them tomorrow as it's been in the 70's the last 2 days (while at work) but going up to only 62 F tomorrow on my day off.
What do you guys think? Is it worth my time?

.... if you stay home, you'll likely spend time cleaning cages, feeding, cleaning cages, feeding...etc. etc.... What was your question?

Hello,
I have found them in Maine during the months of April and October when it was very cool outside. There was a rocky hillside that received a good amount of warmth from the sun where I would find them, however just a mile or two away a temperature sign would read 50-55 degrees on some of these days.
