Here's one of our Cape Gopers

terryp Nov 01, 2003 12:35 PM

Received a pair of capes from Steve Weissman at Santa Cruz Reptiles. They should be ready to breed this coming season. It might be interesting in a couple years with the acquisition of a male albino cape produced this past season by Gregg Feaster at Gregg's Reptile Basement. Gregg got his albino and het cape from Steve Weissman also. I believe Steve had two bloodlines of cape gophers and ours are not from the albino line and shouldn't be het.

I know you've been real busy these days. That's great. I was going to call you a couple times. Let's talk sometime this week. I have a few questions for you. I really like that albino cape that you produced this past season. They are prettier then when I first saw a pic of them several years ago. Good luck.
