Two new leos. One eats one doesnt. Should i seperate?

earthpig23 Nov 01, 2003 02:43 PM

I got new new leos on the 11th of Oct. They are both females and are housed together. One is a very enthusaiastic eater and actually prefers to eat from your hands. She eats mealworms almost dail and anywhere from 4-10 at a time. The other one has only ate 2 Meal worms around the 17th and 2 crix about a week later and nothing else. She may have lost some weight but not alarmingly alot yet.
My quetion is the breeder said housing to females would be no problem. But since one is thriving and one is not than should I seperate.

FYI..the one who doesnt eat is also very skiddish and only comes out at night when she thinks none is looking. My other one will be in and out of her hide day and night and will come to the edge of the tank to visit you.

i would separate them the one sound like it wants the food more and could be intimidating the other gecko so it shys away from the food.
