My snake is about 25 inches and is 322 grams. The guy at the pet store said he thinks it is about 6-8 moonths old ( he isn't sure because someone brought it in who didn't want it anymore). Does that sound right? Also I am feeding her 2 adult mice a week. Is that the right amount? And i know I should get her on rats, I'm trying to find a place in my area that sells something smaller than adults. Do you have to ask if they sell hoppers and such??

that age range sounds about right. My snake is about 28 inches long and i feed him small rats (100-110 grams). i guess you could give him two adult mice a week, but i find it easier to feed one small rat a week. rats are also better for them. If you have a petco near you, i know for a fact they sell frozen rodents, you just have to ask for them.

ask for weanlings or half-grown rats or rat pups for a 25'' BP. some snakes dont like eating rats also, but if he doesnt take it the first time, offer it to him once every 7 days eventually he'll take it
