Humidity Level

Jester313 Nov 01, 2003 05:01 PM

What humidity level do you recommend for a Pacman Frog's enclosure? I have a great heat variance, from about 72 degrees on one side of the tank to just under 80 on the other side. But what is a prefered humidity level for Marcellus?

you have to be careful with horned frogs, sometimes if they arent moist enough when they shed they get this tough dry silvery coating on their skin. i would definately mist atleast twice a day,and help him out sometimes by showing him his water bowl,if this happens. i keep my humidity at 70%,good luck.

50-60% is normally sufficient and is the humidity level at which I keep my tanks set. Some books say 70-90%, but I believe that is overkill. Andy
