its a different texture then the actually urate and an orangish yellow. any ideas?

its a different texture then the actually urate and an orangish yellow. any ideas?
Its part of the urates. Sometimes its there, sometimes its all that's there, sometimes its not there.
...depending on what the rodent ate before the snake ate it pigments from rodent food such as carotenes, and other water-soluble chemical moieties may be pissed out by the snake, thus resulting in urates with varying colors. Isn't chemistry interesting? Scott J. Michaels DVM
