Hey nice quote!
Yes you can keep them together...any cage set up for an asian will be fine for the hardy aussie dragon.

i have an asian now and i am looking into getting some aussies from bert at agama but the only thing is is that he can tell the sex of his and i can not tell the sex of mine. so the thing i am worried about is ending up having more than one male. But bert said that more than one aussi male will be fine together so i am not worried about that but i hope that my asian is not a male. also how big of a cage would i need for 4-5 adult water dragons? i have space in my room to make a cage that would be 8 feet long 4 feet wide and 6-7.5 feet tall.

Great choice.
>>but the only thing is is that he can tell the sex of his and i can not tell the sex of mine.
I had the same problem. I would have a smaller cage set up (or a way you can section off your main cage) just in case.
>>for so the thing i am worried about is ending up having more than one male. But bert said that more than one aussi male will be fine together
Yes I have two aussie males who cohabitate nicely. They each have a basking spot on opposite ends of the cage and they each have a feed dish under that spot. The only thing they actually share is the pool.
For multiple dragons you need to ensure they do not stress eachother out--which means they need hide spots, basking spots feed dishes etc. I have noticed the largest male will try to bully the smaller --the most important thing you can do is watch to make sure they all eat and no one gets pushed around.
>>but that but i hope that my asian is not a male. also how big of a cage would i need for 4-5 adult water dragons?
Like I said you need multiple basking spots etc...the alpha will generally take the highest basking spot so I try to keep the two spots equal on both sides.
The biggest mistake I see people make is putting alot of babies in a small tank intially ---you are bound to lose one or two that way.
There is a member here who has multiple babies as well---you can post a few questions to him (Bast) and I'm sure he would be happy to help you.
Good Luck!
