Yep, the last one is Amelanistic. The first one does appear to be Hypo from the top. But the small part belly you show in the picture shows very black chekers with indicate 'normal'. Hypo's have checkers with 75% red and 25% black.. Nice snakes anyways.

The dorsal and side pattern says Hypo. Look at the belly scales. If they are solid black and white it is not a hypo. If the belly scales are washed out black meaning they look gray or they are fused with color, it is a hypo. If you look down a few post you will see a pic of one of my hypos from this year. There is a good belly shot in the post.

Hey Mattman, welcome to the world of cornsnakes. The top snake in your post, is very nice...though I am not sure if it's a hypo or not..not experienced enough to determine that so will let those with more say what it is. THe second picture though, is deffinitely an amel..looks alot like mine too

I just could not resist!!! With so many different colors to choose from, I just had to start another addiction rolling. So far I had great luck with them. I bought them yesterday, and they both took there first meal today in a matter of seconds. I'm quite excited. I heard so much in the past about problem feeders reading the corn pages, I was nervous I would have problems. I was thinking about diving in for a while now. so far so good. I just love the temperments as well. Great starter snake. I've been away from snakes for a long time now.
