also five more imported babies went to their new homes today, I did real good til the last one was tubbed and in his new owners hands .... then I could not help it, I know he is going to a wonderful home, but I thought of the first time I opened the containers and saw this particular baby, so tiny and blinking his eyes in the bright lights at the airport at night, I just fell in love with him then. He was easy to remember as he had a very striking pattern on him, five perfect boxes going down his back, I noticed that right off and when picked up he started licking me. OKAY.... enough of the sob story.
The show is really nice, some new items, if you all remember the stair step caves in some of my pictures, now the same company has a corner cave of the same material that holds warmth so nicely and I bought 2 cases of those, so everyone will have they new caves tomorrow,
One supplier had carpets, heat pads, some plastic basking items that looked like wood and many other items on half price and I got several items there. (Merry Christmas to the beardies).
The only animal I came back with is an adorable brother to my CC that I was transporting to someone that lives near me from JoelR, so he does not really count as coming home with me. But... oh my is he precious and gorgeous, is there a law on beardienapping? J/k, he will go to his new home tomorrow, although he does look awfully comfortable here
People we got to see and talk to again: Dan Wentz, Connie and Keith from Leaping Lizards in MO and several others of us had dinner together, the service sucked but hey... the company was great! Bill and Kathy Love were there, Laura of Heavenly Herps and her daughter, Jeremy of Neodesha Cages, Nadine and Dave, Bennet, JoelR, RichZ, Jeff Armstrong and his wife (Jeff was dressed as an ..errr witch or something, but cute) and many others that don't post on here. Going back tomorrow, but I promise not to cry again..... no more babies leave this home
