Solar was rescued today from a knowledgeless dealer who had no clue what species he/they were, nor could tell their sex.
Most of the pile were malnourished and dehydrated. I grabbed this little guy because of he personality, which was totally uncommon for a WC. He is totally amazing and sweet. As soon as we got him home, we soaked him to regained his hydration and placed him in his new home. Not 5 mins. later he was pigging out on greens and birdseed. LOL His color for his age is amazing as well. Once he is an adult he appears he will have a beautiful full-bodied yellow.

Extra income? I need that now!!!!! LOLOL Hey, we have about 10 collared eggs cooking in the incubator now!!! What some babies later? :0)

I did get real fortunate with the 2 new uros. The female ornate I new was sweet adn healthy, but the male geryi was a gift!
The dealer has no clue what he/they are doing and I felt sorry the little guy. He was so calm and sweet, I had to take and save him!!! LOL. After getting him home, I couldn't believe how much eat ate right away, which was highly unusual, especially for a new WC. His yellow color greatly intensified as well once heated up. He was totally unexpected and now a blessing!

Oh, did I mention the little argentine black & white tegu juive my wife fell in love with? Well she's in our home now too! LOL

We need another house just for our critters!!!!! LOL

Hey, glad to hear your new guy is so sweet thats the way I like my lizards too !!! Thats crazy about your wife, because I have always loved tegu's too, think they look awesome, BUT.. I would not be will ing to fed mice and rats and such, as I like them too! They get quite big appetites while growing.
As far as me, I did it again also... just gave a deposit(can't be shipped till warmer weather) for a Uroplatus henkeli (leaftail gecko) about 5 months old so cool looking I received about 4 pics of him in a 15 minute time period and the change is Amazing, he looks like the branch in one pic, hard to find him really cool ! Anyway latter this summer I will purchase the female for him !!! Boy we are all goofy, hunh ? FUN !!! Eve
