Not sure what sense that makes.
Everyone has a limit of what they'll spend.
If you want the frog buy it, if not keep l;ooking..
Have yet to see someone sell a frog by the inch..
It isn't unheard of. They do it with snakes (by the foot, same concept though). And basically that is what they do with horned and african bullfrogs. A 6 inch male african bullfrog that is, say, 5 years old may sell for 150 or so, while a 9 or 10 african bullfrog that is also 5 years old of the same gender may sell for 400 dollars. Larger normally means more expensive (in most cases). And when people want a horned frog or african bullfrog, they are normally looking for the largest, fattest one they can find. So it really is selling by the inch, it just isn't called that. Andy

I didn't say it wasn't heard of..
If you get technical yes that may be.
If i buy or sell something it's by it's age not if it's 1 inch or 3 inches.
Look in the classifieds and show me ads with snakes, frogs, and turtles selling anything by the inch.. I'm sure they will be out numbered by the ads selling by age (baby, sub-adult, adult)..

The only ads I've seen per foot were for feeder snakes.
If I were buying the frog I'd just buy a baby, they get big soon enough. At any rate, if you were doing it like that, it would make a lot more sense to sell for weight and not length.

Peter: It's OK, I'll handle it. I read a book about something like this.
Brian: Are you sure it was a book? Are you sure it wasn't NOTHING?
