New Gecko: Feeding Times?

jawz Nov 02, 2003 10:19 AM

Hey, i just got my first gecko last night and he's in a 20 long. I got him off a local person i met while at work (i work at petsmart) and this person knew what he was doin, he had sliders, anoles, corn snakes, ball pythons and the gecko looks really healthy. Its about 2 months old.

I was wondering when is the best time to feed it crickets? Is it better at night when they are more active? Or do they adapt to a feeding regime?

Thanx in advance

it's probably best to feed him at night because that's when leos go "hunting" for food~ i feed mine between 6:30pm & 8pm when i come to change the bulbs. when he hears me turn off and remove the lamp to switch to the night bulb, he comes out of his hide and goes to the food dish
