steffke Nov 02, 2003 04:56 PM

or stay the same after they are full matured?
My Bearded Dragon keeps getting brighter as he gets older, but I wondered about chucks.

From what I have seen it is really variable. I have seen some get brighter up until a certain age then stay the same or more often darken considerably. Also animals in nature are much more spectacular. It seems they loose a lot of their brilliance when in captivity. There is no substitute for natural sunlight. The southwest guys(and girls) are really lucky to be able to keep animals outdoors. Tom
